What Time Machine covers
Time Machine records changes Mist Desktop makes through the Fluid API, such as:- Creating, updating or deleting something in your company.
- Publishing.
- Setting or removing an app’s environment variables.
- Changing a domain.
Time Machine doesn’t cover:
- Changes made outside Mist Desktop, for example in the admin.
- Your chats.
- A project’s files. To go back to an earlier version of your files, use History in the preview. See Run and publish.
- Rows in a database.

In the sidebar, click Time Machine. Press Esc or click Close to close it. Time Machine has two tabs:- Timeline: the changes made to your company, grouped by the work that made them.
- Activity Log: the file changes saved in the projects on your computer.
Read a change
Each change shows who made it, such as AI Agent or You, and a summary. A chip shows how safe it is to revert:- Safe to revert
- Affects production: check before you revert, because reverting changes something live.
- Irreversible
