Read the current parent node

Requires company admin access and members.view under the existing permission aliases. Reads current primary-database node state without changing trees or legacy axes. Only an as_of timestamp is accepted in the query string; body, period_id, expansion, and paging selectors remain unsupported. Without as_of the response is current state. A root has a null parent. Missing or discarded subjects and timestamps with no recorded placement return 404; invalid or disconnected ancestry and read-deadline failures return 422. These operations do not depend on the move-admission allowlist.
